Be Filled | Don’t Leave Without It

📖 John 20:19–22 | Acts 1:4–8

There are some things you simply cannot do without the power of God.

In Week 3 of Be Filled, we look at Jesus breathing on His disciples in John 20 and His command in Acts 1 for them to wait for the promise of the Father — the power of the Holy Spirit. Before they were sent out, before miracles happened, before the Church was launched, Jesus made it clear: don’t leave without it.

Talent wasn’t enough.

Passion wasn’t enough.

Even proximity to Jesus wasn’t enough.

They needed power from on high.

This message reminds us that we were never meant to live the Christian life in our own strength. God has given us His Spirit to empower, guide, strengthen, and equip us for everything He has called us to do.
