As pastors and church staff, we are here to connect with you, care for you, and help you develop your relationship with Jesus Christ. That means being available to listen to, talk with, pray for, and worship beside you. It means guiding those who seek truth and transformation to the One who freely gives those things. And it means being present to meet the spiritual needs of people wherever they are—whether in church, homes, hospital beds, prison cells, office buildings, coffee houses, or on the streets.
Neal Nolan has given his life to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. He has the unique ability of sharing biblical truth in a straight forward,
yet loving way that has encouraged many through the years.
The Nolans came to North Walhalla after pastoring at the City of Hope Worship Center in West Columbia, where they served for six years. Pastor Nolan and his family began their pastorate at North Walhalla in September 2016.
He has served the Church of God in many roles since accepting the call to preach at the age of seventeen. He has been a Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, State Evangelist, and Lead Pastor with the denomination from which he has been credentialed. Pastor Nolan has been given the honor of being youth camp speaker in several states, youth camp Bible teacher, and has preached at Campmeeting for the Church of God. He has also been elected by the ministers of the Church of God in South Carolina to the State Youth and Christian Education Board four times and has been selected once to the Church Ministries Board of South Carolina. Pastor Nolan completed the highest rank of ministry in the Church of God, which is being recognized as an Ordained Bishop, at the age of thirty.
Pastor Nolan is married to the love of his life, Jessica, and they have two sons--Aiden and Ashton. Personal hobbies include sports, hunting, and studying history.
Jessica Nolan grew up in the Church of God and has always loved being a part of this Pentecostal heritage. Jessica's family instilled
into her a love for the church, as well as a love for Jesus and the
importance of a relationship with Him.
Jessica comes from a family that truly appreciates music and she spent many Fridays and Saturdays traveling from one gospel singing to the next. This heritage allowed Jessica's love of music to grow and grow. God placed such a passion for music into Jessica's life that she now is able to use that gift for His glory.
Jessica Nolan received a B.A. in Spanish from North Greenville University and a B.A. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Coker College.

Both Danny and Wanda are rooted in the Church of God and have served since their teens. They began their music ministry at North Walhalla in April 2015, bringing over thirty years of experience to the staff, congregation, and community. Previously having served at Gap Hill, Marietta, and High Praises, they are excited to now join Pastor Scottie, Melissa, the staff, and congregation at North Walhalla for an exciting explosion of music in the church.
